Welcome! I’m Julie, a certified Fitness & Pilates Instructor dedicated to helping you move better, feel stronger and live more mindfully.

Here's a little insight into my journey and what led me to become a fitness instructor.

From a young age, I struggled with weight issues and self-confidence. Fitness became my way of coping — I threw myself into fitness classes and personal training sessions to take control of my health. Over time, through the ups and downs of overtraining and undereating, I eventually found a balance that helped me not just physically, but mentally too.

That journey made me fall in love with movement. Now, I want to help others experience the same confidence, strength and clarity that fitness gave me. Whether your goal is to get fitter, stronger, lose weight or simply create space for yourself in a busy life — I’m here to help you build a routine that makes you feel good from the inside out.

I qualified as a Fitness Instructor in 2022 and my approach is rooted in functional training that supports real-life movement, builds endurance and develops total-body strength. I design inclusive, motivating sessions that challenge you without overwhelming you — so you can feel your progress every step of the way.

In 2025, I added a Pilates qualification to my toolkit. It’s something I’ve always been passionate about and I finally made the time to turn that passion into a skill I can share. Pilates is an incredible way to reconnect with your body, relieve stress and strengthen yourself both physically and mentally. As a qualified instructor, I love combining traditional strength training with Pilates principles to improve core stability, mobility and overall wellness.

For me, this isn’t about quick fixes. It’s about lifestyle changes you can stick to — routines that fit into your life, support your wellbeing, and help you feel like the best version of you.

I also host Pilates events around the country, creating fun, inclusive spaces for people to connect, move and reset.

  • I started Julie's circuits classes in November 2022. I was a bit nervous as it had been a while since I did a circuit class but there was no need. Julie is so friendly and welcoming and was quick to put me at ease. Her classes are great - plenty of challenges and no two nights are the same. She is quick to change it up and keep us on our toes. I've also availed of her personal training and it's great to have someone push you and know that you can do more, instead of the taking the easy options. I would recommend both to anyone. My fitness levels have improved and feel better overall by doing both. Would highly recommend Julie!

  • I have been going to classes with Julie for almost two years now. Every class has something different about it, she keeps it interesting by changing up exercises or with an interesting finisher! From the first night, I felt so comfortable with Julie and with all of the other people in the class. The classes suit all levels of ability. If you need any exercise to be altered due to a past injury Julie has no problem helping you do this. I've also done PT sessions with Julie and these were great to push myself and perfect my technique on certain exercises. I would highly recommend Julie's classes to anyone who wants to improve their fitness or even if you are just new to the area and are looking to get to know people.

  • I've really enjoyed both the pilates and hybrid circuit/pilates classes after school. Julie is fantastic at what she does, tailoring sessions and exercises to suit people's various abilities and interests. Each session is different and we all come out feeling energised and delighted that we've completed some exercise and decompressed after a busy day before even leaving the school. I'd highly recommend it in terms of team building or for a staff wellbeing session. Julie is so professional, explains all the exercises clearly and is so encouraging. I really look forward to our sessions.

  • I have really enjoyed Julie's pilates/hybrid classes after work. Julie is fantastic at what she does and tailors all classes to our needs, providing alternative exercises to suit everyone including levelling up if you want a challenge. I love trying out new things in fitness and I have especially loved the hybrid of circuits and pilates that Julie provides as you get the best of both worlds. As we know, wellbeing is massive in schools and implementing strategies to improve children's wellbeing has been at the forefront of education in Ireland for the past number of years, however we tend to forget about staff wellbeing. Julie has given us a fantastic opportunity to get together in a positive way, simultaneously getting fitter and having a laugh too. I would HIGHLY recommend Julie to any school looking to try something new!

  • I joined Julie's classes at 42 and with a general level of fitness mainly from walking but poor core and upper body strength. The atmosphere in circuits and PT sessions are really encouraging. What I really loved from the beginning and what kept me coming back is that Julie is very relatable and seems like a "normal" person to me and not someone who's exercise standards I could (or would not want to) ever attain. I come away from sessions feeling a sense of achievement even on the days when I wasn't motivated. When I arrived I always end up doing more than I think I can without feeling like I was pushed too much. During the class she constantly gives feedback and encouragement and will gently show you if you need to slightly change your technique or can try a higher weight or more challenging option or an adapted option if you are finding it difficult. I really enjoy the variety of the exercises and routines with no two days the same and she is always keen to know the areas where you want to focus on and will adapt the lessons accordingly. In the two years I've been attending circuit classes and PT sessions, my strength, stamina and general fitness has increased beyond anything I've had before without me doing much extra than 2 sessions a week which really work for me. When I started I was on a 4kg kettlebell and now I can comfortably go to 16kg and higher some days and my core strength now allows me to do exercises I never could! (Russian Twists for 50 seconds!)

  • I have found personal training with Julie a really good way to keep myself accountable and to make overall lifestyle changes. Julie has been so supportive with patiently showing me all the exercises and explaining the muscles I am working, and also looking at my diet and ways I can make better choices. Julie provides a really relaxed environment in the classes as well so you can be any level of fitness and still fit into the session and get it done!

  • I started personal training with Julie a few months ago and the only regret I have is that I should have done it years ago! I had previously done keep fit classes which I enjoyed but I always wondered how far I could push myself. Julie's PT classes offered me that chance and you know that saying on the Lyon's tea advert "there are no more weights", well there are loads more weights around Julie's classes! At the start Julie asked me what I wanted to gain from the classes and naturally there were areas I wanted to tone up on, target etc. Julie then put together exercises and along with her 100% encouragement I made huge changes to my body! I dropped a dress size but more significantly than the physical changes, my mental changes soared. I couldn't recommend Julie highly enough.
